Matt was absolutely awesome.

As buyers from out of state, we needed someone with eyes and ears on the ground. He did tons of research on each home in which we were interested to make sure it was worth the long drive to look at them. Once he found us the right home, he helped us negotiate a great deal. Once under contract, he stepped up even more! Working with the inspector, several contractors and continued to drive negotiations in our favor. Since closing, he has been an awesome resource for referrals, has helped us with various(some labor intensive) projects, and the go-to guy on what's happening around town. I couldn't be happier with our experience with Matt Melvin.

"So, Previously I wrote a fairly negative review. I clearly was not happy with the services throughout the process of purchasing a home in the OBX. The communication I thought could have been better and the repairs of the home could have been facilitated much better. That being said I need to give credit where credit is due. Although we have not spoken since closing Mike still when out of the way to make sure the home was presentable along with some of the repairs on the outside of the home were performed. Even though I had my initial opinion I felt it was right to go back and update the review to reflect his effort. So Thank you Mike!"
